Breakfast - Porridge and 1/3 tin Peaches
Served with cup of hot lemon water.
Very yummy … and SO filling!!
I was going to peel and cook just two of the remaining potatoes, but decided to peel three of them as I had a plan in mind for tomorrows tea.
The ingredients for tea.
I had decided to make a pasty with my final little piece of ready rolled puff pastry. An ideal time to use up lots of bits and bobs.
Once they were all finally chopped, I rolled the pastry out a bit bigger than this. And set to assembling the pasty. Ooh I do love a bit of pastry, and this one sheet of ready rolled pastry has done me for three meals. 😃
I couldn't quite fit all of the stuffing patties into the pasty, so this one will be eaten with it instead.

Wow, what a tasty meal from just leftovers. You go girl.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I enjoy reading your challenges and the creative ways in which you use up the leftovers. :)
ReplyDeleteYummy, Sue, that sounds really tasty. Beats my Friday Fridge soup any day.
ReplyDeleteI buy a large tin of grapefruit segments for 59p from my local Bargain Buys. Does me 3 breakfasts. Porridge is also a good filling breakfast. Sometimes for quickness I pour boiled water sraight from the kettle on it. The oats swell up and then a splash of milk and 4 prunes ( no sugar).
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love baked beans on toast♥ Delicious food as always:)
