Happy New Year

Late … but better late than never.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, and that you are looking forward to this New Year and new decade with hope and renewed vigour and energy.

There's no new Challenge as yet but I have some ideas that I'm jotting in my notebook and if any of my regular readers have ideas that you think might make for a good week or month long Challenge, that others would be interested in reading about, I would be interested to see your ideas.

  2. Hi Sue I have quite a few ideas for a challenge, as no one has posted any I'll post the ones I have, hope you don't mind.

Try 2 new vegan recipees per week for a month.
Sort out 30 things in a month you don't use and sell them and see how much money you can make in a month.
Make 30 random acts of kindness, send someone you know flowers, send someone you know a card just saying hello. Visit someone you haven't seen for a while. https://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/29-ways-to-carry-out-random-acts-of-kindness-every-day.html
Eat only local food for a week/month.
What about a reading challenge, picking a book and your readers could join in.
Look at you area as a tourist would and visit the places you always meant to but didn't get around to it, before you move.
Challenge your self to walk 10,00 steps per day for a month.
Challenge yourself to only use cash for a month no, credit cards allowed.
Listen to a CD of yours every day for a month and tells us why you choose to listen to it and which memories it evokes. Keep a gratitude journal for a month and write out 5 things you are grateful for each day.
Make somthing over a period of a month e.g a blanket from knitted or crochet squares or patchwork squares and donate to a charity.
Make a card a day to have your greetings cards ready for a year.
Sorry I've waffled on. Hope it gives you some ideas, these are some things I've been thinking about. Helen S.

    1. There are some brilliant ideas there, thank you.

And yes, I'll pick a couple of them and see what I can do, The 'try 2 vegan recipes per week for a month' idea is already in motion … great minds think alike :-)
